The Learning and Talent Coordinator is responsible for supporting Smiths Group’s Learning and Talent strategy activities. Being a confident and good communicator will be crucial for this role as it involves working with multiple stakeholders, both internal and external, across the globe in multiple time-zones. 

Specific Job Duties & Result Areas:

  • Work with the Head of Leadership Development to support the design, development and delivery of Leadership Development programmes and activities across Smiths Group
  • Provide co-ordination support and work with divisional colleagues, globally, and the HR Service Centre to ensure the timely delivery of ‘Accelerate’ and other [email protected] programmes
  • Co-ordinate with external parties to support the delivery of Leadership Programmes, including - venues, faculty, design agencies, printers and other suppliers
  • Work with VP of Talent to support Divisional Talent Roundtables - co-ordinate diaries, organise meetings room bookings and preparation of materials.
  • Responsible for tracking budgets for the team and working with the Finance team to adhere to internal deadlines and standards for reporting. Log and track invoices for the team
  • Be the first point of contact for other key Talent and Leadership activities such as Senior Assessments (YSC), testing tools and learning portal enquiries
  • Work with internal communications to ensure all comms activities are scheduled and support the production of materials for group wide distribution
  • Support the Director of Talent and Leadership Development on project and day to day activities
  • Ad-hoc administration – travel, expenses, booking rooms, presentations, printing & binding materials

Candidate Profile:

Recent graduate with an HR related degree, or passion to grow a career in Talent and Learning. Ideally with some exposure to HR – Leadership Development, Learning or Talent. Strong organisational skills underpinned by advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
